Witness appeal

Good afternoon,

Firstly please be aware of the surfaces on the roads as this heavy rain has caused alot of water seeping from fields around rural areas of South Derbyshire, therefore slow your speed down.

Secondly Officers responded to a call last Thursday evening, 4th of June at 23.30hrs in Rosliston near to the mini roundabout on Linton Road, whereby a victim was alerted to his van, which offender(s) were trying to steal.

Fortunately the offender(s) escaped without the van but they potentially used a dark coloured BMW, which was seen heading towards Burton.
